Rabbi Richard G. Lampert
Read Hebrew online
There are so many people who want to read Hebrew. A fantastic way to make it more accessible is to read Hebrew online. If a person does not have access to books or other texts, then having the ability to read Hebrew online can solve many people’s problems. All a person needs is access to wi-fi, then they can access any Hebrew text they want.
A person who is unsure what texts to access to start to read Hebrew online, should start at his or her reading level. There are a variety of texts available for people who want to read Hebrew online. However, it is important to read at a suitable level suitable to you. Once your reading level improves, you can progress onto more difficult texts.
It is important that when you read Hebrew online, that you have a thorough understanding of how to break up each word into syllables. Once you have mastered this skill, you will be able to read Hebrew fluently. The online program Easy Learn Hebrew teaches pupils how to break words up into syllables. Learning this skill enables people to read Hebrew fluently.
If you are still learning how to break words up into syllables, then a great option is to use the “paint” feature on your PC to draw in the syllable lines. It is important to continue to with this skill as it helps with your fluency. However, if you are a more experienced reader, then using syllable lines is probably not necessary.
To summarise, when you read Hebrew online, make sure you check that the text is suitable for your reading level. You can always find other texts once your reading has improved. And furthermore, make sure you keep practicing using syllable lines. These syllable lines will help improve reading fluency.

The Easy Learn Hebrew story began in 1986 when I became involved with Rabbi Lampert's teaching methods as a tutor in the 'Learn To Read Hebrew In One Day' course.
This course took students, who could not read a word of Hebrew at the beginning of the day, and by the end of the day they could read Hebrew, slowly, but correctly.
In 1999, I completed my Bachelor of Arts majoring in Hebrew, and, as part of my degree, spent a year in Israel studying Hebrew at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. In 2008, I became the primary instructor for the 'Learn To Read Hebrew In One Day' course.
Whilst conducting these face to face courses it occurred to me that this unique classroom-based method could be transferred to an online format to make it accessible to people all around the world, and so the Easy Learn Hebrew program was born!
The Easy Learn Hebrew program is the 'Learn To Read Hebrew In One Day' classroom course 'online', however offering much more in terms of being able to revise the 'classroom' content online repeatedly via the videos, take the online quizzes and being able to print out the associated hard copy learning materials as required.
I am very excited to make this program available and look forward to welcoming you as an online Easy Learn Hebrew student.
